Bio Rex Lasipalatsi rooftop terrace opening 9.-10.5.!
The rooftop terrace of the classic Bio Rex Lasipalatsi will open to the public on Friday 9 May 2025. The opening weekend will include two classic films: Cocktail (1988) and Grease (1978).
In the best spot in Helsinki, under the neon lights, you can enjoy delicious refreshments and a magnificent view of Mannerheimintie all summer long. The opening of the rooftop terrace will take place on Fri-Sat 9-10 May, when, in addition to the great terrace atmosphere and pop-up bar, two legendary films will be screened: Cocktail (35 mm film) and Grease. Tickets cost 10€/each.

The summer terrace is a collaboration with Helsinki Long Drink. The terrace and the bar will be open on summer weekends until 31 August during the opening hours of the cinema.

FASHION DOCUMENT WEEKEND
On Saturday and Sunday, 24–25 May, Bio Rex cinema will screen international fashion documentaries featuring some of the most inspiring and influential designers of our time. The films offer personal insights into the worlds of fashion and creativity.
The two-day programme includes six internationally acclaimed documentary films.
